Searching for a Patient

Use the patient search in Attend and enter any combination of:

- First name

- Last name

- Date of birth

You need at least a first name or last name to search. Adding more fields helps narrow the results.

What You'll See

Each result shows:

  • Full name

  • Date of birth and age

  • Gender

  • Email and phone (if available)

  • Patient status (e.g., Active)

Up to 20 results are shown at a time. The search pulls from your Cerbo directory in real time, so it always reflects the latest patient information.

Selecting a Patient

Click a patient from the results to link them to your current encounter. Once selected:

  • Their name and demographics appear in the encounter view

  • You can pull context from their Cerbo chart (health profile, visit notes, documents)

  • When you send the note, it goes to this patient's chart in Cerbo

Selecting from Your Schedule

You can also select a patient by clicking on an appointment from your daily schedule in Attend. This pre-selects the patient so you can jump straight into documenting.
